Would someone please explain to me
what just happened here
between friday night and sunday morning
cause there’s a big change
from the pretty little smile she gave me
and the awkward silence filling up her car

but I had the afternoon
to think and pray and pace around the room
and a strill small voice
keeps telling me i’m not to worry
